About

Hello, I’m Jeremy Brault, a curious person and maker who likes starting new things.

I spend my free time hiking outdoors, thinking of how I can use wood and electronics to make toys and furniture.

From an early age I've always loved being creative. This lead me to the New Media Design program at RIT, and afterwards I began my career as a digital product designer in San Francisco.

Fast forward to the present day. I'm living in Vermont with my wife, and working at Brault & Barnes Design, which we started in 2012. Most days helping clients simplify and improve their digital products.

Lately I've found myself constantly thinking about the future, the implications of technology and a changing world. Part of me wants to return to the simplicity of the past. With analog technology, a slower more personally connected world. I'm conflicted, because the draw of the future and new technology is captivating and I want to be part of shaping it. Maybe I'll find a way to do both.
